We're now in Serpentine, Western Australia - about 60 klms south of Perth. We're staying on Jhana Grove Meditation Retreat Centre. Quite a few years ago the property was owned by a caravan club and we are staying in an area of bush that was formerly used by the club as a camping area.
There is no mains power where we are (we don't need it any way) and lots of peace and quiet. We head over to Bodhinyana Monastery across the road for our midday meal and to listen to talks on Buddhism a couple of times a week.
We plan on being here till October 2011 before heading off to Burma for 6 months. We'll leave the motor home with a friend at Nannup as we have not figured how to make it float as yet. :-)
